Barn Owl Nursery is a home based retail business specializing in herbs, especially lavender. We started the nursery in the Spring of 1982.  For over 30 years we have offered locally grown herb plants. In the past 20 years we began specializing in lavender.  We have increased our selection of locally grown lavender plants and offer over 80 cultivars of lavender. We also feature locally made lavender gifts and a selection of imported lavender products in our barn like gift shop.  These plants and products are for sale only at our nursery.

Customers, garden clubs and small groups, are welcome to walk through our test gardens.  You will see different herbs in bloom when you visit our nursery April through July.  Please call ahead to make an appointment for a class, workshop, or a guided garden tour for a group of 5 or more people.

Dried herbs, harvested from the nursery’s gardens, or picked from other Northwest gardens, are for sale in our drying room.  We offer a wide variety of different lavender flowers.  Fresh cut and dried bouquets of lavender are usually available at the end of June and through July.  We sell small quantities of certified organic, dried culinary herbs and lavender all year.

Each month that the nursery is open, we feature certain herbs and offer information and tips on growing and using these herbs, when they are available.  Additional information, products and recipes for using lavender are featured in the gift shop.  We are available to assist you in selecting the herbs and lavender that will work best for you.

We do not ship any plants or products. Our nursery and gift shop is open to the public as indicated by the hours posted on our website.  Please stop by for a visit and enjoy our relaxed, country atmosphere.
