Tender Lavenders (different species and cultivars of Lavandula)  
These lavenders are fast growing and they produce flowers throughout the summer and early fall. However, they may not survive prolonged freezing temperatures.  Grow them in large pots and move them to a protected place before the first hard frost in the fall.
