Spanish Lavenders (Lavandula stoechas)
These cultivars are hardy outside during mild winters in USDA Zone 8b, but they will need protection during harsh winters. They grow quickly and look their best when pruned well.

Tender Species (different species of Lavandula)
These species of lavandula may not survive outdoors during hard winters. They can be grown in containers & protected autumn through early spring, until after danger of frost, then set outside late spring through summer.

Goodwin Creek Grey (Lavandula x ginginsii) ) 4″ – $5 Sale
This lavender is hardy outside, if the winter is mild in USDA Zone 8b. It starts blooming in spring & may continue blooming through the summer & early autumn.

This lavender is sensitive to humidity & wet conditions in USDA Zone 8b.
